For over 24 years the Joplin Crusaders have existed and strove for football excellence in the Central States  Football Leagues (CFL). As one of longest running semi-professional football teams, the Crusaders have proudly carried the banner for Missouri Football excellence and have represented the city of Joplin, Missouri and its surrounding communities with distinction, pride and respect for the past 24 years.

Our mission is not only to excel at the game of football but to provide and outlet for younger and older men to become better men. Whether providing a way for players to be more involved with their community, through events or as role models for the next generation of football players as coaches and skill camp counselors. The Crusaders provide players with skills as it pertains to being part of a successful team with a long, prideful tradition. They learn valuable life lessons through the game of football itself. Some use the team as a means of self discovery, with or without  any previous football experience, players learn more about who they are as a person or what they are capable of, on and off the gridiron.

The Joplin Crusaders are about more than just a way for players to keep playing the game of football. It is about building a stronger and better community along with stronger and better people.
