Back Yard Brawl- Joplin Tornado Relief Game:
The Joplin Crusaders will be hosting the Springfield Phantom on Saturday February 25th in a Preseason Game.
All proceeds from this game will go to the Joplin Tornado Relief Fund

Kickoff is at 3:30 and the gate will open a 1:30 for players.

The Springfield Phantom and the Joplin Crusaders talked last year in June about doing a Non-League Preseason Game to help with the Tornado relief even though neither one of the teams have every played one another since they are in different leagues. The Springfield Phantom is in the the Alliance Football League this year after playing in the GDFL the last two years. And the Joplin Crusaders are playing in their 11th season in the Centeral Football League which is base out of Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma & Texas. One thing is for sure both teams are excited about playing a preseason game to help out the local community. Come out and support the Crusaders and your hometown.
To all the teams in the CFL, & NCAA that have extended their helping hands with rebuilding Joplin we would like to Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. We really appreciate the generosity & support of other teams in the league. It’s individuals like you that will help Joplin begin to pick up the pieces.
